Beginning July 10th, Ronnie Price, a design chemist for Tulsa-based company, Road Science, LLC, is attending his annual two week training for the Oklahoma National Guard in Ft. Chaffee, AR.
Having been part of the U.S. military for 23 years, his most recent military role has been as a Brigade Targeting non-commissioned officer for the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team over the last 3 yrs. Ronnie has also served in 3 tours of duty:
Tour 1 - Iraq invasion. Served with the 4th infantry division and 20th field artillery multiple launch rocket systems.
Tour 2 - Iraq stabilization. Performed explosive ordinance disposal to clear Iraq of IED’s and leftover munitions.
Tour 3 - Chandler, OK. Performed stabilization for families of deployed soldiers.
About his military service, Ronnie says: “Serving is a calling. It’s why I joined back up after retiring once. I enjoy being a part of something bigger than myself & filling a need. I love training troops, watching them complete a mission & grow.”
The team at Road Science is proud of Ronnie’s service and dedication to our country. We wish him well and look forward to his return after successful completion of his training at Ft. Chaffee.
